Posting: The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day. Post your thoughts on your own blog. Talk about your doubts and the fears you have conquered. Discuss your struggles and triumphs. Offer a word of encouragement for others who are struggling. Visit others in the group and connect with your fellow writer - aim for a dozen new people each time.
Check them out here.
Well, as for writing -- not as much as I hope for, as always. I have recently done an installment (#52) of Jennifer M. Eaton's ongoing story. It will post in July. If you are interesting in signing up to write 250 words, or learn more about it, or even to read the story, check it out here.
I still am planning to sign up for Camp NaNoWriMo for July. I will be working on my 2nd novel again, NO ONE LEFT TO DIE. I am hoping that there won't be as much drama here as there was in April, and that I can reach my wordcount this time. It is fortunate that we WILL BE STAYING HERE, and not have to get involved in a move. Wasn't looking forward to that. I remain Queen of my Gardens!
Still working on re-editing DESDINOVA for print. I am hoping that since the move thing is settled that I can get back to writing.
Thanks to Jaileen for telling me about IWSG.
I never write as much as I hope to either. Good luck on your NaNo. I'm doing JuNoWriMo this month. Not moving is always a good thing, I think. We move a lot and I love the adventure of new places but I hate the actual moving...
ReplyDeleteWell I didn't know there was one in June! I really have to keep updated on this stuff, but things have been up in the air. Happy writing to you!
DeleteWelcome to IWSG. I agree with Sarah, seeing new places is great. Packing up and moving all your crap, then unpacking all of said crap...not so much :) Last time I did this it was literally across the country! Best of luck getting in more writing time.

I like the idea of moving to new places & starting over. When I was younger, I was all over the place, but I am not finished planting all this property yet! Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteWelcome to IWSG! Good luck with your novel! Love Jennifer Eaton's blog--the little blue lady hosted me when my novel came out earlier this year :-)
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed writing for her story, and would like to find more round robin type stories to work on. Thanks for visiting!
DeleteHi Shayla, nice to meet you and welcome to the IWSG. Perhaps we're related, mother's maiden name was Kwiatkowski, Ha! Never manage to get done what I really want to, but then who does. Glad you don't have to move, I just completed (kind of) a move across an ocean last week. It was a pain in the butt and will continue to be for a few more weeks as I wait for my things to arrive.
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it thru the move! Across an ocean would be an ordeal. Sorry, but we won't be related, as Kwiatkowski was my husband's name. But, hey, can't have too many "cousins", right?
DeleteGood for you! Wishing you every success with your writing endeavors.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to IWSG. Sounds like you have a lot of writing to keep you busy for some time! Good luck with it all, and I hope you manage to stay on track with NaNo - I know how hard that can be!
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you and hope you find what you are after, it seems you have a plan at least ;) that's always the best start
ReplyDelete**Squee** I'm looking forward to Camp Nano. I've requested you to be a part of my cabin too.
ReplyDeleteGlad you joined IWSG - they are such a terrific bunch of people.
I am glad I joined the bloghops you suggested too... It was hard last month with all the moving drama but now I need to get back to my writing. Thanks for the support, writing buddy!
DeleteThanks everyone! Happy day to you all!
